The “TÜV SÜD Used Vehicle Certificate (GWZ)” is awarded to used vehicles on a voluntary basis. The certificate certifies the condition of the used vehicle at the time of the inspection by a neutral third party, as described in more detail in the associated test report.

The vehicle is tested by means of an external visual and effectiveness test – without disassembly or removal of components, with the aid of a pit or lifting platform, a headlight tester and a brake tester.
