Vintage car appraisals acc. § 23 StVZO
According to §2 Abs. 22 FZV, a classic car is a vehicle that was first put on the road at least 30 years ago, corresponds as far as possible to its original condition and is in a good state of preservation. The vehicle will also be used to maintain the vehicle’s cultural heritage. In order to register a vehicle that meets the above requirements as a classic car, an “expert opinion for the classification of a vehicle as a classic car” in accordance with Section 23 StVZO is required. TÜV SÜD’s test engineers / classic car experts have been offering these classic car appraisals for obtaining an H license plate directly to enthusiasts of historic vehicles since March 2007.
